Oyvind was appointed Technical Director of Aker Offshore Wind in 2021.  He holds the responsibility for the technical development of the Ulsan floating offshore wind project on behalf of Korea Floating Wind, a Korean company owned by OceanWinds of Spain and Aker Offshore Wind of Norway.

He has extensive experience from large technology intensive projects in the energy sector. A product of the Aker system, he has held the position of Senior Vice President for subsea operations in Asia-Pacific and Country Manager in Angola.

Oyvind graduated with an Engineering degree from McGill University, holds an MBA from EM Lyon and a LLM in Construction Law from Robert Gordon University.
